Do you have this weekend marked on our calendars Londoners? If not, you should, as it is the 2013 London Spring Home and Garden Show. It is the 37th year that the Home and Garden Show will be gracing the Western Fair Grounds and it is shaping up to be another fabulous event. Did you know that it is the largest home, renovating, gardening, landscaping and lifestyle Show in Southwestern, Ontario? Yup, and CLC Tree Services will be there for another year!
The show starts Friday April 19th and runs through to Sunday April 21st, 2013. Doors will be open noon – 9 pm Friday, 10 am – 8 pm Saturday and 11 am – 5 pm Sunday. Tickets cost $11 for adults, $9 for seniors and children 12 and under get in free. FYI; entrance fees are cash only, although there are ATMs on the premises. Parking is FREE.
If you aren’t sure whether you want to attend the London Spring Home & Garden Show, let me assure you that it is an event not to be missed! If you are a home owner, there is bound to be something valuable for you to see and learn. There will be vendors of all sorts on hand to help you with any renovation projects, remodeling thoughts, redecorating plans or gardening ideas.
You can watch interesting shows on both the Gardening and Idea Stages. You might even spy a celebrity, as Peter Fallico from HGTV’s ‘Home to Keep’ will be there, as well as Andrew Downward from HGTV’s ‘Divine Design’. Not to mention the folks from CLC Tree Services (we are in the Canada Building)!
What else do you have to look forward to? There will be cooking demonstrations, the Spring Flower Show and Competition, the Green Thumb Marketplace, Dream Garage, the Design Centre, prizes, contests and so much more! As an added bonus, the show is putting its best green footprint forward, with eco-friendly products and services available. Just in time for Earth Day on Monday.
