Holiday Planning: It’s About Time Management

10 Weeks til Christmas

There are 10 weeks til Christmas and for many that is far too soon to start talking about the holiday season. Canadian Thanksgiving is past, but Halloween is still on the way, as is Remembrance Day. I know people want to focus on those celebrations and not be inundated by Christmas carols ad nauseam forever, but for some, like Christmas Decor London, the planning is a long time in the making.

When it comes to organizing for the holidays, Christmas Decor London starts planning early. In July, Anna Marie attended the Christmas Decor Franchise annual conference to hear about the latest design trends and items available in Christmas Decor. With fresh ideas and ways to share them large in her mind, she moved onto a redesign of the Christmas Decor London website. It launched in October with plenty more pictures, graphics, questions answered and fanfare, but took lots of time to redesign in order to best showcase all that Christmas Decor London has to offer.

And for some, the new website couldn’t come fast enough.

Larger companies, like White Oaks Mall, start to plan for Christmas months in advance. They need to take into consideration a budget, length of time for installations, the need for and availability of electricity, placement of decor items, and so much more. They respect the sacredness of Remembrance Day, but also need to be ready to flip the switch to illuminate their Christmas Decor as soon as possible. For a busy 700,000 square foot shopping mall, 6 precious weeks isn’t a lot of time to make the bulk of a year’s sales. They need to be ready for the festive spirit immediately.

For Christmas Decor London, we need to schedule in all the businesses and homeowners who would like to decorate for the holidays. A Christmas decor package takes time to estimate, design, approve and install. As Christmas Decor London is a subsidiary of CLC Tree Services, the Christmas Decor needs to be scheduled around tree work as well. As much as we would like to be able to install Christmas Decor as quickly as possible for our customers, it is dependent upon what other jobs are lined up in our roster and how many people we have available to work. Sometimes, there are not enough hours in the day or bodies to carry out all we would like to see done. But we do our best.

It takes time to arrange a Christmas Decor package.

It takes time to arrange and install a Christmas Decor package. But we do it with a smile.

So when people complain that October is too soon to start thinking about Christmas, we remind you that it takes time to plan for a major holiday. If we can start scheduling and designing Christmas Decor packages early, then we have more time to fit in everyone’s needs. It is called time management and we do it to the best of our ability. Ultimately, it is up to the customer as to when they turn on their Christmas lights as well.

If you would like to have Christmas Decor London decorate your home or business for the holidays, now is the perfect time to contact us. We can contact you, set up an appointment to discuss your budget, needs and time frame, and make sure that your Christmas Decor is ready when you are.

Happy holidays!
